At Freedom Design + Build, Inc., we believe that whether you require a universal design, or not, your project should always be beautiful. Our team thoughtfully designs + builds with universal components that are blended so seamlessly that you wouldn’t even know they are there. Excellent universal design can be custom & aesthetically pleasing. The level of customization for each individual that we plan a space for naturally evolves into a universal design.
Ease of use and function is taken into account in all aspects of our projects & thus, elements of universal design can be found in most of our projects naturally.
You do not have to necessarily require universal design to appreciate what it can add to a space. For example, anyone can enjoy a barrier free shower, wider hallways & doorways, or custom countertop heights.
There are two types of universal design: commercial tolerances as described by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and residential tolerances that are slightly less. With custom spaces designed + built from scratch, we can capture both. We combine award winning designs with high-quality craftsmanship, & we recommend the best product lines that will withstand the test of time.
